Dépannage

Pas de réseau, connexion lente et les vérifications qui règlent presque tout en moins d'une minute.

This category covers a phone that is installed and not working: no service after landing, connected but nothing loads, and data that is slower than it should be. About sixty percent of no service tickets are data roaming left switched off, which takes fifteen seconds to fix.

What this category covers

Faults, in the order a fault actually presents. No bars at all, then bars with nothing loading, then everything loading slowly. They are three different problems with three different fixes, and treating them as one is why generic advice wastes your morning.

  • No service at all after landing, which is usually a switch and not a fault
  • A registered line that passes no traffic, which is usually the wrong host network
  • Slow data, and whether it is the cell, the plan or a throttle
  • How to reach us with no working connection, over the free rescue data

What it does not cover

A profile that never installed is not a network fault. Neither is a phone that does not support eSIM. Both waste time here and are answered in one page each elsewhere.

  • An install that failed or errored is in Installing your eSIM
  • A phone with no EID and no eSIM support is in Getting started
  • A balance that reads wrong, with a working connection, is in Using and managing your data
  • Compensation for a network that failed you is in Billing and refunds

Airplane mode on, wait ten seconds, off, forces a fresh network scan and clears a large share of the first two before any of the rest matters.

What to have ready before you contact support about a fault

Six facts turn a diagnosis into one reply. Ori collects most of them automatically from inside the app, which is why asking there beats emailing even when you are annoyed.

  • The network name your phone shows, or the fact that it shows none
  • Whether Data Roaming is on for the Orbislo line, checked rather than assumed
  • Which line is set as the one for mobile data
  • Your exact location, because a cell two streets away can behave differently
  • Whether airplane mode on and off for ten seconds changed anything
  • A speed test result, if anything loads at all

The numbers behind this category

We publish a median measured speed for every destination, built from 75,333 samples across 145 countries and 157 upstream networks. The fastest destination medians 119 Mbps and the slowest 18 Mbps, and both numbers are on the coverage page rather than hidden. In 5 destinations we have only one upstream network, so there is no second network to switch to, and we say which ones.

Where the next category starts

If the network genuinely failed you in the destination, stop troubleshooting and go to Billing and refunds. A destination where we could not deliver is a full refund plus a credit, and arguing with you about it costs us more than the refund does.

Questions fréquentes

How do I ask for help when I have no connection at all?
Every account carries 100 MB a month of free rescue data in 200 plus countries, and Ori runs over it. That is the whole reason it exists. A human replies in under a minute at any hour, with your diagnostics already attached.
Why does switching networks manually help?
Automatic selection picks the strongest signal, not the network that is passing our traffic. Registering on a host that has not authorised the session gives you full bars and no internet. Choosing the partner network listed on your country page skips that.
Is slow data a throttle you are not telling me about?
On a metered plan there is no throttle at any point. The unlimited day pass runs at full speed to 2 GB a day and then 1 Mbps, and that is printed on the buy button. Anything else slow is the local cell, and the country page median tells you which.
What if there is only one network where I am?
Then there is nothing to switch to, and we say so. There are 5 destinations where we have exactly one upstream network. They are marked on the coverage page before you buy rather than discovered on arrival.
Nothing here worked. What now?
Ask Ori, then take the refund. If the network failed you in the destination you get a full refund plus a credit for the trouble, and frontline agents can approve up to $200 without asking anybody.
